Meet the Team

Meet Dana

I am currently taking a break from massage therapy. Having worked in the physical therapy world for the past six years, I am incredibly grateful to work with such a talented team and the clients who allowed me to be a part of their fitness journeys.

During this break, I look forward to pursuing other passions, including teaching continuing education courses and returning to my art.

Thank you for your support over the years.

Why Naturopathy

Our Services

Medical Massage Therapy

Medical massage therapy is a targeted approach prescribed by healthcare professionals to address specific medical conditions, reduce pain, and improve mobility. Trained therapists use specialized techniques to complement traditional treatments.

Sports Massage

This type of massage focuses on joint mobilization and joint manipulation. We use techniques such as vibration, shaking, compression, broadening strokes, direct pressure, cross-fiber friction,  range of motion, and stretching to achieve this.

Cupping

Cupping has been shown to increase blood flow to the areas where it is applied. It is often used in athlete recovery to help heal sore, tired muscles. It is also beneficial when applied to the muscles before athletic events.

Maternity and Postpartum Massage

The pregnancy and postpartum period of a woman’s life can be very hard on the body. Maternity massage and postpartum massage is an excellent way to feel better. Both treatments utilize gentle range-of-motion and stretching to relieve pressure through the neck, shoulders, rib cage, lower back, and hips, promoting greater strength, flexibility, and balance.

Deep Tissue

Deep tissue is a massage technique that involves applying firm pressure and slow strokes to reach deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue. This method aims to release chronic muscle tension, break down adhesions, and promote overall  healing.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage

a specialized, gentle massage technique which stimulates the lymphatic system by using specific hand movements to move excess fluid (lymph) from congested areas of the body towards working lymph nodes It is often used to manage conditions such as lymphedema, swelling due to surgery or injury, and to promote general detoxification.

Testimonials

Dana, the massage therapist, is also incredible. I have had her work on my leg during some PT appointments when she is available, and also have booked massages with her. It was the BEST massage i have ever had, no exaggeration. You can feel the difference from her massage to any other “spa” massage. She truly has an understanding of muscle groups and anatomy, so much more than just a “feel good” massage. I can’t wait to book a massage with her again.
